Jump Celebrates 10th Birthday

London, UK – 26th September 2018 – We’re very proud to announce that Jump has turned 10 years old. We launched the agency in September 2008, about five minutes before the bottom fell out of the economic market, but we’ve been incredibly lucky to work with amazing people and our agency has thrived.

As the old adage goes “mighty oaks from little acorns grow” and although Jump is still a little way off a mighty oak, we wanted to mark this occasion by donating to Trees for Cities, enabling the charity to plant even more trees to green urban spaces.

Rory Field, Corporate Partnerships Director at Trees for Cities said, “It’s wonderful that Jump has chosen to celebrate its 10th anniversary by supporting our tree planting efforts in this way. Trees help to make our air cleaner by absorbing carbon dioxide and other gases and boost our mental wellbeing too. That’s why we need to keep planting more, and we’re calling on people to help make our cities greener by joining #GenerationTree.”

“The past ten years have been a mixture of hard work and fun with great colleagues and clients who have all added to our adventure,” says Kate Ford, Managing Partner, Jump. We’re really happy to donate to this fabulous cause and to be a very tiny part of helping to make the country a greener place.”

About Trees for Cities

Trees for Cities are the only UK charity working at a national and international scale to improve lives by creating greener cities around the world.

Trees for Cities get stuck in with local communities to cultivate lasting change in their neighbourhoods – whether it’s revitalising forgotten spaces, creating healthier environments or growing food with kids.

Trees for Cities was founded in 1993 by four friends, Jake Kempston, Belinda Winder, Jane Bruton and Julian, all of whom wanted to see more trees in urban spaces.

2018 marks the charity’s 25th anniversary. They are celebrating this milestone with their #GenerationTree campaign, and a number of public events including a flash mob held at Kings Cross station on 28th July.
