Jump: The boutique comms agency with an abundance of experience

What a fantastic IBC! Kate was at the show from Friday through to Sunday supporting our clients Calrec and LiveU, talking to many industry journalists, meeting with colleagues and friends, attending the MTSS Sustainability Conference and filming our new Jump promo video – huge thanks to the KitPlus team for the production and to Calrec’s Marketing Manager Alexia for the very kind testimonial.

Jump has just turned 17 years old and we have a huge amount of experience working with many different companies across the broadcast media sector. We are copywriters, broadcast industry specialists, creative thinkers, strategists, plus we’re media savvy and have great connections. We know how to structure and deliver your message to maximise coverage. This knowledge is incredibly important and it allows us to create success for our clients.

To weave a really rich tapestry of experience both personally and professionally, we also take on paid and unpaid projects that align with our values. If you follow Kate on socials, you’ll likely have seen her many posts about the Lobular Moon Shot Project, a campaign lobbying the UK government for £20m research funding for lobular breast cancer, a disease that despite being known about for 80 years has had very little research and has no specific treatment.

Kate joined the campaign two years ago after being diagnosed with lobular breast cancer in January 2023.She has been running the comms for the campaign most of this year and a few weeks ago Kate, and other members of the campaign’s leadership team, met with Secretary of State for Health and Social Care The Rt Hon Wes Streeting, Minister Karin Smyth and Chief Scientific Officer Professor Lucy Chappell.

Kate was also the publicist for regenerative farming documentary feature film Six Inches of Soil, which has been incredibly well received around the world and has a strong following. For many, soil is not the sexiest of subjects (it is for us) but it’s our lifeforce; without healthy soil we cannot grow nutritious food. By protecting our soils we help prevent negative environmental impact, build communities, protect waterways and help ecosystems and nature to thrive. Six Inches of Soil has just been announced as a finalist in the BBC Food and Farming Awards in the Digital Creator category. Winners will be unveiled at a ceremony on 18th November. Protecting the environment is incredibly important to us personally and to Jump as a business. We want our company to have a positive impact and we will be publishing our first sustainability report in the next few weeks.

With all this said, Jump brings a huge amount of creativity, knowledge and experience to the table both broadcast industry specific and in a much broader sense. We have experience working with B2B, B2C and broadcast media and can craft your storytelling to drive your narrative at a cost that suits your budget and requirements.
