London, UK – 19th January 2016 – Jump, a specialist B2B agency that provides complete international PR, marketing and creative services to the video industry: broadcast, post production, connected TV, cable, satellite and service suppliers, has announced the appointment of Alicia Root as PR Associate. Alicia, who has vast industry experience as both a PR professional and journalist, takes on the position with immediate effect.

Prior to joining Jump, Alicia held the role of US Account Executive at Platform PR, where she represented clients in the broadcast, TV, and digital media space. Prior to Platform PR, Alicia worked as a PR consultant for other agencies across the broadcast/professional video sector. She also spent seven years as a Managing Editor at NewBay Media, overseeing the daily operations of Government Video and serving as Contributing Editor to TV Technology and Television Broadcast magazines.

At Jump, Alicia, who is based in Denver, Colorado, will provide account management and copy writing services for the company’s growing global client base. Last month Jump announced that it has been selected to provide global PR services to Snell Advanced Media (SAM). SAM selected Jump to position the company as a thought leader across the key market segments in which it plays.
