Rascular branding, website case study

“We’ve been working with Jump now for over three years and we’re really happy with the services they provide. We’ve gradually increased the way we work with them, taking advantage of the integrated PR, marketing and creative services packages they offer. This has been invaluable and has included website builds from the ground up, fully managed by them, new branding and stand design too. Jump also supplies e-marketing services as well as PR. This allows us to present ourselves to the market in a clean, clear and constantly updated way with branded materials and concise wording. The team uses its expertise to do what we simply don’t have time to, and it’s a pleasure to work with them.”

Ephraim Barrett, Sales Director, Rascular Technology Ltd.

The Jump team initially worked on PR materials – case studies, press releases, articles, awards entries and more – and a new website back in 2012. The latter was managed by us, from site map through to launch, including new design and copy. Since then our relationship has grown.

Branding overall objective
In late 2013, it became clear that we needed to update the current Rascular brand to be consistent across all media. We started with the Rascular logo and this opened the creative gateway to generate new designs for a new, application-focused website, literature and promotional materials as well as a new style for the stand at IBC 2014.

Rascular’s logo needed to reflect the company’s growth and technological progression in the broadcast control technology field. This was achieved through careful thought, not only to the colour scheme and general look but also the strapline and the way it would scale cross-media. A brand book then followed for all other promotional materials including stationery, datasheets and product front panels.

We worked with our trusted website designers to produce an engaging, easy to navigate site with an easy-to-use and flexible back office. The website provides Rascular with the tools to include social media integration such as Twitter and LinkedIn in the future. The site works across all platforms and has a fresh and appealing look. The navigation was also carefully thought through to enable customers to find the right solution with minimum effort, moving away from a product focus to an application focus. The project was managed from start-to-finish by Jump, including all copy generation.

Stand work for IBC 2014
Jump worked closely with Trade Fair in this instance, and our graphic design partners, to help create an engaging and modern IBC stand. This, of course, used the new branding to great effect.

Working with Rascular has been a prime example of understanding the technology and story, creating a strong and accurate narrative and then using that material in multiple ways, edited and repurposed as suitable. As mentioned above, this has included material across the PR spectrum.

E-marketing and advertising
Jump has also managed Rascular’s e-marketing and advertising requirements, including all design and implementation as well as list acquisition.

Jump has provided an integrated service for Rascular across the communications spectrum to great effect, helping the company to become more successful. But of course we will work in any way that’s appropriate for your company. Get in touch to start the discussion.
